Hiring status: no open roles right now
We’re not hiring right now. Let’s get you hired anyway.
ReturnKoto? is a small, owner-run site, so there are no jobs here today. But if you landed on this page looking for work, you deserve more than a closed door. Here is a plan, some honest CV help, where to look in Bangladesh, and a few true stories for the days it feels like nothing is working.
Stories for the hard days
42 true stories of people who heard “no” before they heard “yes”. A new order every visit.
Twelve publishers said no.
Before Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling was a single mother in Edinburgh living on state benefits. Her first manuscript was turned down by twelve publishers. A small house, Bloomsbury, finally said yes in 1996.
Twelve rejections were twelve wrong rooms, not a verdict on the work. Keep sending.

How
Write down three job titles you would be happy to do next, for example Sales Executive, Junior Accountant or Customer Support Officer. Searching for everything spreads you thin; three titles give every CV and every application a clear aim.
How
One clean CV per role type, not one CV for every job. Put your strongest, most relevant results at the top. The CV section below shows how to turn duties into results.
How
A clear photo, a headline that names the role you want (not just 'Looking for opportunities'), and an About section of three or four plain sentences. Recruiters often look you up before they call.
How
Five tailored applications beat fifty copied ones. Read the job post, mirror its key words where they are true for you, and send the CV that matches the role. Before you apply, check what the role usually pays on Beton Kemon, so you know your worth before the salary question comes up.
How
Message people already doing the job you want: former classmates, seniors from your university, friends of friends. Ask for 15 minutes to learn how they got there. Many roles are filled through people who heard about someone.
How
Prepare five short stories from your work, studies or volunteering using the STAR method below. Say them out loud until they feel natural.
How
Keep a simple list: company, role, date applied, contact, next step. If you hear nothing in about a week, send one polite follow-up. It shows interest and often gets your CV a second look.
How
Job hunting is a job. Keep fixed hours, sleep, move every day and take real breaks. Talk to people you trust about how it is going; you do not have to carry it alone.
A CV that gets read
Recruiters often skim a CV in seconds. Make those seconds count.
Do
- Keep it to one page, two if you have many years of experience.
- Start each line with an action verb: led, built, grew, cut, trained.
- Show results with numbers where you honestly can.
- Put your newest experience first, with dates.
- Use the job post’s own words when they are true for you.
- Save it as a PDF with a clear name, like Rahim-Uddin-CV.pdf.
Don’t
- List duties without saying what changed because of you.
- Send one copy of the same CV to every job.
- Use long paragraphs, tiny fonts or heavy designs.
- Leave spelling mistakes in. Read it aloud, then ask a friend.
- Add personal details the employer did not ask for.
- Exaggerate. Anything on the page can come up in the interview.
On photos: many Bangladeshi employers still expect one; many international roles do not. Follow what the job post asks for.
Fix a weak line
Action verb + what you did + the result. Example lines; swap in your own true numbers.

Where to look in Bangladesh
Job sites
Start with LinkedIn Jobs, then Bdjobs, and set alerts for your three titles. But most hiring happens through people: the more people you are connected with, the sooner you hear about an opening, often before it is posted.
Government jobs
BCS and many other public service posts are run by the Bangladesh Public Service Commission. Read each circular carefully: deadlines and eligibility rules are strict.
Company websites
Many employers post roles on their own careers pages first. Make a list of 20 places you would like to work and check them every week.
Learn while you look
A short, finished online course is a fresh line for your CV and a good interview story. Many good ones are free; pick one linked to your three target roles.
Check the salary first
Before you apply, look the role up on Beton Kemon. People in Bangladesh share their salaries there anonymously, so you can see what a position pays at a company and walk into the salary conversation knowing your worth.
Spot a fake job
A real employer will not ask you to pay to apply, to “buy” a job, or to share your bank PIN. If an offer sounds too good and wants money first, walk away.
Interviews: tell stories, not adjectives
Anyone can say “hard-working”. A short story proves it. Use STAR:
Prepare stories for these, and you can answer most questions: Tell me about yourself. Why this role? A time you solved a problem. A time you failed and what you learned. A time you worked in a team. When asked about salary, give a range you have checked on Beton Kemon rather than a guess. End every interview with one good question of your own, and send a short thank-you message the same day.
On the hard days
Today’s three small wins
Big goals feel far away. Small ones get done. These reset every day.
Worth remembering
- A rejection is about one role on one day, not about your worth.
- Silence usually means a busy inbox, not a judgement on you.
- Everyone you admire has a pile of rejections you never saw.
- Rest is part of the work. Tired people interview badly.
- If it is weighing on you, talk to someone. Asking for support is a strength.

Questions
Is ReturnKoto? hiring?
Not right now. ReturnKoto? is a small, owner-run site with no open roles. If that changes, it will be announced on this page and on ReturnKoto?’s LinkedIn page first.
Can I send my CV anyway?
Please hold on to it for now. With no open roles there is nothing to match it against, and your time is better spent on the plan on this page. Follow ReturnKoto? on LinkedIn to hear if that changes.
Why does a fund site have a careers page with job tips?
Because people land on a careers page hoping for a job. If we can’t offer one, we can at least offer something useful: a plan, CV help and a few true stories for the hard days.
