How to read this table

Returns are total return with dividends reinvested by default (or taken as cash), from the same verified data behind the calculator.

Total return is the overall gain or loss on a one-time investment over the period you pick (dividends reinvested). It is not a yearly rate.

Per year turns that same lump-sum result into a steady annual rate (CAGR), so different period lengths stay comparable.

Monthly SIP /yr is the annualized return if you invested the same amount every month. It differs from Per year because money goes in gradually.
